Is There A Plan To Delay 2024 Election Results?

Updated: Aug 27, 2024

On July 31, 2024, as part of a public service announcement series for the 2024 election cycle, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) jointly released the following statement:

"Just So You Know: DDoS Attacks Could Hinder Access to Election Information, But Would Not Prevent Voting."

This announcement aimed to raise awareness that Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks on election infrastructure, or related systems that support election operations, could limit public access to election information. However, they emphasized that such attacks would not compromise the security or integrity of the election process. The PSA is part of the agencies’ ongoing efforts to provide the public with accurate information and ensure that the election infrastructure community has the support necessary to conduct safe and secure elections.

Could this be a setup to delay election results while still claiming that election integrity remains intact? Remember how Arizona took a month to finalize its election results in 2020?
